Samsung is gearing up to introduce its next flagship phone series in the early months of the upcoming year. Windows Report has recently leaked official renders and specifications for all three models in the lineup – the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, offering an in-depth preview of these eagerly awaited devices. The standout enhancement is undoubtedly the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s titanium frame, but there’s more to discover.
Starting with the Galaxy S24, the base model boasts a 6.2-inch Full HD+ OLED display and incorporates the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB. The device houses a 4,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and features a triple camera system led by a 50MP main sensor. While an evolutionary update over the S23, the Galaxy S24 remains an appealing choice in the affordable flagship category.
Moving up the ladder, the Galaxy S24+ features a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It shares the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with the base model but offers more RAM configurations – 8GB or 12GB – and storage options of 256GB or 512 GB. The S24+ boosts battery capacity to 4,900 mAh with 45W fast charging, maintaining the same rear camera setup as its predecessor.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra takes the spotlight with a massive 6.8-inch QHD+ OLED screen, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. It aligns with its siblings by featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip but stands out with 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and an impressive 1TB. Notably, the S24 Ultra showcases a quad-camera setup with a remarkable 200MP main sensor, accompanied by dual telephoto lenses of 10MP (3x optical) and 50MP (5x optical). The device adopts a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging. Its design highlights include reduced bezels on all four edges, offering a sleeker look compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
All three Galaxy S24 models will debut with Android 14 and feature Wi-Fi 6E/7, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3. Samsung is integrating new generative AI capabilities, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s on-device AI engine, enabling real-time translation in messaging apps across over a dozen languages. Additionally, these models are expected to incorporate more extensive vapor chamber heat dissipation systems for improved temperature control. It’s worth noting that Samsung has yet to officially confirm the successor to the Galaxy S23, so it’s advised to approach this information cautiously. As for the release date, anticipate the refreshed lineup to be unveiled early next year at a Samsung Unpacked event, following the precedent set by the current models announced on February 1.
